European raves are nothing like what you would consider a rave. Yes, there are laser beams-lights, techno but they are way more amazing which is strange because no one's on drugs. Maybe it's better because drunk-sober people aren't as easily impressed.
Everyone where's regular clothing, no kandy, no rave socks, no fishnets. There are hella old people who enjoyed it. It was 18 plus but no one carded. It's so nice going up to a bar like it's no big deal. The US really should change their laws. I haven't been binging here, I have not blacked out, I've just been enjoying the liquor and great beer. Their beer is way better (not usually a fan). There's a lot of old people too, up to their 50s.

I made everyone wait for Felix Da Housecat who started at 4:20AM. I felt bad and was getting pretty tired of waiting myself but he was so worth it! Felix just is brilliant. We were all dancing like we were on amphetamines, going ape shit during Felix and to the music before, as well. I guess we're just used to dancing like that at raves, I found it interesting. I had such a blast just dancing like a mad woman to great music.
Barclay brought his glow sticks (of course) and busted them out. We had all thought that he would get constantly asked for drugs but no, everyone was so amazed, don't think they see that in Europe. Many people stopped to watch. People came up to him to take pictures with him or of him and take videos. Someone even asked if Barclay wanted to hang out with his friends. He was pretty happy that people were appreciating his talent.

During Tiesto, Andrew let me go on his shoulders. Oh man, so great! Tiesto's pretty full of himself, you could tell from his amazing light show entrance. Man was I in heaven, I couldn't stop smiling. I was almost at the same height as the DJ, the lights were coming at me. Man, just beautiful.

I really hope we go to another European rave, just wonderful. We got lost getting there and on the way back but that's not really interesting to write about.
